Yugoslav Youth Work Actions: material and social legacy in contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina
(2024 - ongoing)
This project examines the affective and material legacy of Yugoslavia’s youth work actions (omladinske radne akcije) in the context of contemporary Bosnia and Herzegovina. Through archival research and fieldwork documentation, the project aims to foreground personal experiences and tangible outcomes of youth work actions. This includes women’s experiences and the advancement of gender equity through spatial production. Women from all backgrounds directly contributed to shaping the country’s landscape, infrastructure, and cities.
